Scotts Run Station

Scotts Run Station, which is situated in the Tysons East District is defined as the gateway for those traveling to Tysons from the East. It is home to the metro station closest to Washington, DC. The development plan includes possible improvements to Scotts Run Stream Valley Park which will become the primary focal point and natural amenity in Tysons Corner.
It will be complemented by well placed urban plazas and open space. Several residential buildings and a hotel are located in close proximity to the park, affording views of the park and ensuring a twenty-four hour presence in Tysons Corner. Office buildings are located in close proximity to Route 123 creating an urban employment center with high visibility and excellent access via metro or automobile. Residential and office buildings are integrated in a way to create a pleasant living environment.
A proposed new main street which will run parallel to Route 123 will be the primary connector road in Scott Run Station. This main street will feature retail space and open outdoor seating areas. The new streetscape is designed to host community events such as street festivals and outdoor performances. These events will be accessible by mass transit and assist in creating a vibrant, walkable community and sense of place.
Cityline's rezoning application for Scotts Run Station South for 6.7 million sqft mixed use was approved by Fairfax County in April 2013.
